TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully
Professional Fees and Personalized Local Services – Travel Italy Now is a consulting service providing customized trip planning and arrangements for individuals and small groups. We charge a professional fee for this service. We will inform you of our rate based on the effort we believe will be necessary to customize your trip. This fee is separate and apart from any other costs you may incur for travel e.g.airfare, hotels, guides, ticket reservations, rail or car rental etc. The client is responsible for confirming reservations and all arrangements and for all payments which will be made to the service providers. A non-refundable deposit is required to retain our services. Full payment is required when the planning has been completed and confirmations received, but in any case, at least 90 days prior to departure. Our professional fees are non-refundable.
Services – Full payment may be requested at the time of registration for services including but not limited to English guided tours, driver services, transfer services or any other special service which you book directly.
Payment will follow the policy of the service provider.
Hotels – In order to confirm your hotel reservation, Travel Italy Now will provide the hotel with your credit card information. Charges to you will depend on the hotel or booking agent policy - you may be charged the full amount of your stay upon confirmation, you may be charged the total cost of the stay at check out or the hotel may require one (1) night deposit for confirmations. The cancellation and refund policies are hotel specific. If you ask, we will provide particular hotel policy before proceeding with your reservations.
Rentals - Apartment and villa rentals require various deposits or prepayment. In general the entire cost is paid prior to departure and cancellation or refund policy will be available in the rental contract. Car rental payment depends on the company. Travel Italy Now has a relationship with Auto Europe whose best rates are prepaid. However they are completely refundable if cancelled prior to date of pick up.
Final Payment – Unless otherwise specified and agreed to, full payment of fees or deposits due must be paid 90 days prior to departure. If bookings and itinerary are made 90 days or less prior to departure, full payment is required at time of booking. If payment is not received by Travel Italy Now on or before the due date, Travel Italy Now reserves the right to cancel any bookings without providing any notice.
Cancellation – Travel Italy Now requires that all cancellations be in writing and sent directly to the service provider with a copy to Travel Italy Now. We will attempt to assist you in this process however it is the clients’ responsibility to effect cancellations. The effect of the cancellation on your deposit or subsequent charges to your credit card depends on the time of the cancellation and the specific service provider. Please note that Travel Italy Now does not determine the refund policies of any to the service providers including but not limited to property owners, but if asked we will inform you of a specific providers policies prior to confirming your trip. Also please note that consultant fees to Travel Italy Now are not refundable.
Cancellation Insurance – Clients are strongly advised to purchase trip cancellation insurance. There are many providers of this type of insurance and we can provide the names of some companies upon request.
Travel Documents – Each traveler is responsible for obtaining and carrying a valid passport and any other documents required by US or Italian government regulations. Non- US residents may require special travel documents to travel in Italy. It is the clients’ responsibility to inform themselves of any and all requirements for travel.
Important Information – The hotels, property rental agents and other service suppliers are independent contractors. They are not agents, employees, servants of, or joint ventures with Travel Italy Now. By booking a trip through Travel Italy Now, you agree that Travel Italy Now will not be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death or property loss or expense occasioned by any act(s) or omission(s) of any hotel employee or agent, any other employee or agent, service provider or occurring in connection with your trip in any manner whatsoever. You also agree to indemnify Travel Italy Now and hold Travel Italy Now harmless for any and all claims. Travel Italy Now shall not be liable for delay(s), change(s), rescheduling(s), or sudden or unanticipated interruption(s) of trip due to illness, death in the family, military or governmental acts(s), act(s) of God or any other reason.
Attorneys Fees - In the event you cancel your trip or violate any of the above terms and conditions, you will be responsible for all attorneys’ fees, costs and any other expenses incurred by Travel Italy Now in pursuing any of its rights and remedies at law or equity. You will be responsible for any judgments, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, costs and any interest, rendered against Travel Italy Now as a result of any suits or claims committed by any third party as a result of your cancellation of violation of this agreement.
Upon payment of deposit, the client agrees to and accepts the above terms and agreements.
